Keep Edmonds Vibrant

In 2024, my hometown – Edmonds, WA – declared a fiscal emergency. In 2025 neighbors and I started a group called “Keep Edmonds Vibrant” to explore possible paths forward.

Inspired by other efforts around the county, we launched a “civic imagination initiative” – What Should Edmonds Be? – to collect and prioritize the Edmonds community's views on on revenue generation strategies, and long-term planning for Edmonds.

I built a custom Polis front-end to enable a digital conversation, designed print and digital assets, and ran community meetings.

We delivered a final report on survey results to City Council, many of which were adopted into Edmonds' budget.
